If you want to play with others on the same local network (LAN), google how to find your local IP for your operating system.
If you want to play with people NOT in your network, you have to either
over a virtual private network using e.g. Hamachi (that CAN be a bit of
a hassle, though, as those programs usually need to be installed for
all players and sometimes malfunction, too)
you need to forward the ports Minecraft uses in your router (which can
also be a bit of a hassle due to various firewalls). There’s lots of
info on that in the Google as well.
The IP for people not in your local network is different from your local IP,
- for Hamachi it’s a dedicated Hamachi IP that would be displayed in the program
- in case you port-forward, you have to google your global IP, there are websites that display it to you.
Note that you shouldn’t give your global IP to people you don’t trust, i.e. don’t post it somewhere public.
So basically i got one villager in my base. I brought him from a breeder. I give him a lectern and a bed, even a door, but he’s not picking the profession. I tried giving him a different profession, but he still doesn’t take the profession. What do I do?
Is it a normal villager or a nitwit?
Wait, are there nitwits after 1.11? I mean he came from the breeder just like all of the others. When i right click him nothing happens. He doesn’t do the nod.
I don’t know but they can bred. Make a new house and hope for the best.
So a long time ago around when i was maybe 12 (I’m 18 now) I played the Xbox 360 Minecraft demo. I had watched a few Minecraft videos that involved creepers and diamonds. So my first ever night i got next to that big house next to the waters edge and dug a pit. Then I put a sign next to the hole that read. “Free diamonds” and skittered off into that big house and crouched behind a window. I sat there for the entire night with a frown thinking. “God dang-it it didn’t work.” To which I tried it again few times with the same disappointment.
a side note when i saw the count down timer till the demo ended which
was an hour I think, I thought a nuke was about to go off (don’t ask me
why because I don’t know) and dug a big ass hole with my heart pounding.
To which it was met with relief when the game closed.
